This page explains the terms for using Rabbit VPN and how we handle privacy. By using Rabbit VPN, you agree to these Terms and Privacy Policy.
1. What Rabbit VPN Does
Rabbit VPN provides virtual private network access that helps route your internet connection through VPN servers. A VPN can improve privacy on networks you do not trust, but it does not make you anonymous, does not prevent every type of tracking, and does not replace safe browsing practices.
You are responsible for using Rabbit VPN legally and respectfully. Do not use Rabbit VPN for unlawful activity, abuse, harassment, spam, attacks on networks, copyright infringement, or any activity that violates applicable laws or the rights of others.
2. VPN Privacy Commitment
Rabbit VPN does not sell VPN data.
Rabbit VPN does not inspect, store, sell, or use your VPN browsing history, DNS queries, destination websites, traffic contents, or the content of data transmitted through the VPN tunnel for advertising, analytics, profiling, or any unrelated purpose.
We do not disclose VPN usage data to third parties for advertising, analytics, profiling, resale, or unrelated purposes. Limited service providers listed below process only the data needed to operate the app, VPN access, payments, security, ads for free users, and customer support.
3. Data We Collect
We collect limited operational data needed to provide the service:
Installation ID generated by the app
Anonymous Supabase authentication user ID and session tokens
Hashed IDFV used to prevent free-trial abuse
Trial status, trial start time, trial expiration time, and access status
Subscription entitlement status, product ID, purchase and expiration status, store, and related RevenueCat event IDs
VPN provider account ID, generated VPN username, account status, selected VPN server ID, and last selected server
VPN server metadata such as country, city, capacity, hostname, and server ID
Security and abuse-prevention events, which may include hashed network information
App diagnostics and technical request data needed to keep the service reliable
We do not require you to create an email and password account in the app unless that changes in a future version.
4. VPNResellers
Rabbit VPN uses VPNResellers to provision VPN accounts, server lists, and WireGuard configurations.
To provide VPN connectivity, we may send VPNResellers limited operational data such as a generated VPN username, generated VPN password, provider account ID, selected server ID, and WireGuard configuration requests. VPNResellers operates VPN infrastructure and may process network traffic as technically necessary to route VPN connections.
We do not provide VPNResellers with your browsing history for advertising, analytics, resale, or profiling.
5. Supabase
Rabbit VPN uses Supabase for backend functions, anonymous authentication, trial enforcement, server access control, and secure storage of operational service records.
Supabase stores app operational data such as installation IDs, anonymous authentication IDs, trial status, VPN account records, server metadata, and subscription state. Direct client database access is restricted. The app uses backend functions to verify access before a VPN configuration is issued.
6. RevenueCat and App Store Purchases
Rabbit VPN uses RevenueCat to manage subscription entitlement status. Purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store.
We may receive subscription-related information such as product ID, entitlement ID, active or expired status, purchase date, expiration date, billing issue status, cancellation status, store, environment, and RevenueCat user identifiers. We use this information only to provide paid access, restore purchases, prevent unauthorized access, and manage subscription support.
Subscription billing, cancellation, and refunds are handled by Apple. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID subscription settings.
7. Google AdMob Ads
Rabbit VPN may show ads to free users. Paid subscribers do not see ads.
We use Google AdMob for ads. AdMob is configured for non-personalized and restricted ad processing. Rabbit VPN does not request App Tracking Transparency permission, does not use the IDFA for tracking, and does not use VPN traffic, browsing history, DNS queries, or VPN destination data for ads.
Google AdMob may still process limited ad request, device, diagnostic, coarse location, or advertising-related data as described in Google’s policies and SDK privacy disclosures. We configure ads to avoid personalized ad targeting.
8. How We Use Data
We use data only to:
Provide VPN access
Create and manage VPN provider accounts
Generate WireGuard configurations
Show available VPN server locations
Verify free-trial and subscription eligibility
Prevent trial abuse, fraud, and unauthorized access
Maintain security and reliability
Provide customer support
Show non-personalized ads to free users
Comply with legal obligations
We do not use VPN browsing activity for advertising or profiling.
9. Data Sharing
We do not sell personal data.
We share limited operational data only with service providers needed to operate Rabbit VPN:
VPNResellers for VPN infrastructure and account provisioning
Supabase for backend services, authentication, database services, and edge functions
RevenueCat for subscription entitlement management
Apple for App Store purchases and subscription billing
Google AdMob for non-personalized ads shown to free users
These providers may process data under their own terms and privacy policies. We do not authorize them to use Rabbit VPN traffic contents or browsing history for advertising, profiling, or resale.
10. Data Retention
We keep operational records only as long as reasonably needed to provide the service, enforce trials and subscriptions, prevent abuse, comply with the law, resolve disputes, and maintain security.
Expired trial VPN accounts may be disabled or deleted. Subscription VPN accounts may be disabled when access expires and restored when access becomes active again. Some purchase, security, and entitlement records may be kept longer where needed for fraud prevention, accounting, support, or legal compliance.
11. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect service data, including secure backend functions, restricted database access, server-side entitlement checks, generated VPN credentials, and encrypted transport where applicable.
No system is perfectly secure. If you believe your account or data has been affected, contact us at contact@lyndl.com.
12. Your Choices and Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict certain personal data. To make a request, contact us at contact@lyndl.com.
Deleting the app may remove local data from your device, but backend records may remain for the limited purposes described above. If you request deletion, we will delete or de-identify eligible records unless retention is required for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, billing, or dispute resolution.
13. Children
Rabbit VPN is not intended for children under 13 or the minimum age required by your jurisdiction. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided data to us, contact us at contact@lyndl.com, and we will take appropriate action.
14. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use Rabbit VPN to:
Break applicable laws
Attack, scan, disrupt, or compromise networks or systems
Send spam or abusive traffic
Infringe intellectual property rights
Harass, threaten, exploit, or harm others
Bypass restrictions in a way that violates the law or third-party rights
Resell, share, reverse engineer, or misuse the service
We may suspend or terminate access if we believe the service is being abused, used unlawfully, or used in a way that harms Rabbit VPN, other users, service providers, or third parties.
15. Availability and Limitations
Rabbit VPN is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, specific speeds, specific server availability, access to any particular website or service, or that every connection will be secure in every circumstance.
VPN access may be affected by network conditions, server capacity, device settings, third-party blocks, local laws, or service provider availability.
16. Legal Compliance
You are responsible for complying with the laws that apply to you and your location. VPN services may be restricted or regulated in some countries or regions. Do not use Rabbit VPN where doing so is illegal.
We may limit or remove availability in regions where required by law or platform rules.
17. Changes
We may update these Terms and Privacy Policy from time to time. If changes are material, we will take reasonable steps to notify users, such as updating the effective date or providing an in-app notice. Continued use of Rabbit VPN after changes means you accept the updated terms.
