This page explains how The Woods Adventure (the "App"), published by Lyndl ("we", "us"), handles your information, and the terms that apply when you use the App. If you have any questions, contact us at contact@lyndl.com.

Privacy Policy

1. Information we collect

The App does not require an account, and we do not ask for your name, email address, phone number, location, contacts or photos.

Stored only on your device: your best score, total coins, and sound and music settings. This data stays on your device, is never sent to us, and is deleted when you delete the App.

2. Advertising

The App is free and shows ads through Google AdMob (banner, interstitial and optional rewarded video ads). To serve and measure ads, Google may collect information such as:

your device's advertising identifier (IDFA), only if you allow tracking when iOS asks;
device type, operating system, language, and general location based on your IP address;
ad interactions, such as views and taps.

Google processes this information under its own privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy. You can learn how Google uses information from apps that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

3. Your choices and consent

Tracking (iOS): the App asks for permission before accessing your advertising identifier. You can change this at any time in Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking. If you decline, you will still see ads, but they will be less personalised.
EEA, UK and Switzerland: a consent form from Google lets you accept or reject personalised ads. You can reopen your privacy choices from the privacy button on the App's title screen, where shown.
Rewarded ads are optional. You never have to watch one to keep playing.

4. How information is used and shared

Information collected by Google is used to show, limit, measure and improve ads, and to prevent fraud. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not receive any information that directly identifies you.

5. Children

The App is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the App, contact us and we will help to have it removed.

6. Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or the CCPA/CPRA), you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal data, to object to or restrict its processing, or to opt out of personalised advertising. Because we do not hold personal data about you, most requests are handled through the controls above or directly with Google. You can also email us and we will help.

7. Security and retention

Game data stays on your device until you delete the App. Data held by Google is kept according to Google's retention policies.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will change the "Last updated" date above whenever we do, and continuing to use the App after a change means you accept it.

Terms of Use

1. Acceptance

By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms and to the Privacy Policy above. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

2. Licence

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the App on Apple devices that you own or control, as permitted by the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, redistribute or resell the App, or use it for any unlawful purpose.

3. Ads and in-game rewards

The App contains third-party ads. We are not responsible for the content of ads or for any products or websites they link to. In-game items and rewards, such as coins, points or revives, have no real-world monetary value and cannot be exchanged for money.

4. Intellectual property

The App, including its code, graphics, sounds and design, belongs to Lyndl or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.

5. Disclaimer

The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available on every device, and game data may be lost, for example if the App is deleted.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lyndl will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or any loss of data, arising from your use of, or inability to use, the App.

7. Apple

These Terms are between you and Lyndl, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the App or its content, and has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for it. If the App fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple for a refund of the purchase price, if any, and Apple has no other warranty obligation. Apple is not responsible for any claims relating to the App, including product liability, legal compliance or intellectual property claims. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.

8. Termination and changes

We may update, suspend or discontinue the App, or change these Terms, at any time. Your licence ends automatically if you break these Terms. The "Last updated" date shows when these Terms last changed.
